Graham Barr, was the new landlord for The Fox
(from April 2006) and an article "Calling Time at the Fox"
appeared in the Spring 2006 issue of The Link. However it seems things are set to change again at The Fox, as reported in the Winter 2006 issue. Now under new management. |
| The King's Arms is another of three pubs in the village, which has a popular spot by the river, over looking the lock. The Kings Arms restaurant, has recently been refurbished. |
| The local Four Pillars (and four star) hotel, is situated in the village, by the river, and is open to non-residents. |

The local garage no longer sells petrol,
but S.D.Timmo continues to sell a wide range of quality cars. The Sandford Service Centre at the garage offers a friendly and professional servicing, MOT's and repairs and also a full valeting service. | The village no longer has a B&B, but the Garden Flat does provide comfortable serviced accommodation, on a short term basis, in the village. |
