Dan Tarzey web site Dan Tarzey has also covered our local church of St Andrew with information on church services and St Andrews in general.

littlemore.org Our neighbouring parish to the north is Littlemore, which also has a Church web site. With lots of news and information about St. Mary & St. Nicholas, with interesting history about its founder John Henry Newman.
Littlemore Angling Society There is also the long established Littlemore Angling Society, founded in 1940 has it's club waters on the River Thames at Sandford and Sandford Lock.
Kennington The much bigger village of Kennington is on the other side of the river to Sandford, on our western boundary, and has a very comprehensive web site.
Radley The village of Radley is also on the other side of the river to Sandford, on our south-western boundary, and has just launched a very informative web site.
Sunningwell Slightly further afield lies the village of Sunningwell and the associated SPADE web site.
Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Iffley To the north, also alongside the river is Iffley Church and...
Iffley Local History Society the very comprehensive Iffley Local History Society web site.
South Hinksey Another nearby parish to the north, with a new web site, is South Hinksey.
Blackbird Leys Community To the east, the nearby Blackbird Leys has a local web site...

Harcourt Arboretum A short distance south on the A4074 is Nuneham Courtenay and the Harcourt Arboretum.
The Baldons Also a short distance south on the A4074 are the Baldons who have a web site on 'The Local Channel'.
Peers School The local Peers School has a web site, which also has a Sports Centre (run by Oxford City Council) on the school grounds.

The Fox Graham Barr, was the new landlord for The Fox (from April 2006) and an article "Calling Time at the Fox" appeared in the Spring 2006 issue of The Link.
However it seems things are set to change again at The Fox, as reported in the Winter 2006 issue.
Now under new management.
The Kings Arms The King's Arms is another of three pubs in the village, which has a popular spot by the river, over looking the lock. The Kings Arms restaurant, has recently been refurbished.
Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel The local Four Pillars (and four star) hotel, is situated in the village, by the river, and is open to non-residents.
S.D.Timmo Car Sales The local garage no longer sells petrol, but S.D.Timmo continues to sell a wide range of quality cars.
The Sandford Service Centre at the garage offers a friendly and professional servicing, MOT's and repairs and also a full valeting service.

Garden Flat The village no longer has a B&B, but the Garden Flat does provide comfortable serviced accommodation, on a short term basis, in the village.
Saddle Doctors And we have a good friend, and excellent saddler, who works for the Saddle Doctors at C H Browns in the covered market in Oxford.

Oxford Science Park The Oxford Science Park, which comprises approximately 30 hectares / 75 acres, is a joint venture between Magdalen College, Oxford and the Prudential Assurance Company Ltd.

The Quadrangle The Kassam Stadium & Ozone Centre now has its own web site.
Oxford United The official web site for Oxford United football ground, who play at the Kassam stadium.

Ozone MultiPlex Cinema The new multi-screen cinema is at the leisure centre next to the Kassam stadium.
Ozone Ten Pin bowling Also there is ten pin bowling at the leisure centre, with 24 hi-tech lanes.
Gala Bingo Gala Bingo is also at the leisure centre.
Fankie + Bennys You can also try the Frankie & Benny's "New York - Italian Restaurant".
  The leisure centre also contains the "Ozone Health & Fitness Club"

Cleverkidz There is a 'Cleverkidz Nursery' (which has taken over the old Jigsaw Day Nursery) situated near by, in Armstrong Road, just over the bridge in to Littlemore.
Sainsburys The nearest main supermarket is Sainsburys situated quite near by, on the ring road. The address is: J Sainsbury Store, Heyford Hill, Littlemore, Oxford, OX4 4XR
There is an on-line home delivery service and also an "in-store pharmacy" (Tel: 01865 777663)
NHS Direct The chemist at Rose Hill is no longer open, for other chemists please try the
"Nearest Pharmacy search" or for the chemist rota showing "opening times".
