LOCAL BUS SERVICESCurrently there are three bus companies that operate a bus route through the village: The '105' & '106' run by Thames Travel every hour or so during the day to and from Oxford which also stops at the Science Park. Timetable (updated 7 June 2008). The new '116' run by Heyfordian Travel also a day time service, every hour, in to Oxford but via the Cowley Centre (Crowell Road). Timetable (updated 2 June 2008). Also there is an evening service '12C' to the city centre from Oxford Stagecoach. Timetable (in the bottom right corner - updated 29 Oct 2006). The village also has a complementary Tesco bus service twice a week. The District Council offers the new national bus pass and also travel tokens. The County Council has a local 'Park and Ride' at Redbridge, just off the ring road, that provides a frequent service into Oxford.
As an added note, Salter's Steamers
runs a regular river boat service (during the warmer months) that stops at Sandford Lock.
