LOCAL BUS SERVICES

Currently only one company operates a bus route through the village to and from Oxford city centre:

The '105' & '106' run by Thames Travel every hour or so during the day, as part of the Oxford - Walingford bus route (note: the old half hour service ceased from 18 April 2005),

The old Stagecoach '5C' evening service, has now been renumbered to '12C' - but now no longer runs through the village.

The village also has a complementary Tesco bus service twice a week.

The District Council offers concessionary bus fares and localy the Parish Council support the 'bus token' scheme for those aged 60 and over.

The County Council has a local 'Park and Ride' at Redbridge, just off the ring road, that provides a frequent service into Oxford.

As an added note, Salter's Steamers runs a regular river boat service (during the warmer months) that stops at Sandford Lock.
